My name is Roxanne Davis and I am a licensed professional counselor, specializing in trauma treatment. I began working with women who were abused over 20 years ago, as I too, am a survivor of domestic violence. It became very important for me to give back, in a way where I was able to help others work toward healing, complete healing. I received trainings in neuropsychotherapy and certifications in both trauma and anxiety treatments. It is important for us to begin with understanding the issue by identifying root cause(s) and encorporating a holistic approach. Taking an active role is important; therefore, self-awareness and promoting a positive mindset can significantly impact positive outcomes. You visiting my page is a big step. The work isn't hard, it just takes making the decision and commitment. The payoff will be a greater quality of life by reducing stress and anxiety, having access to choice and being in control. Stress will never go away, but we can lessen it's impact and learn how to manage it.
